2011 Fall Golf Outing Results:
The results of the 2011 Fall Police and
Fire Retirees Club Golf Outing is completed. The golfers
appreciate the support of our association for this outing.
The outing was held on 11-15-11 at Miona
Lake Golf Club. Again the staff at the club did a good job.
Included is the break down for the
winners.
First place overall with a 63: Jim, Patty,

Second Place with a 67: Barry Plesser,
Steve Hartkop, Jack Laughan, & Ken Mahoney.
Third Place with a 67: John & Gene Citrano,

Congratulations to the winners. A good
time was had by all. We had 60 golfers participate in the
outing.
The spring golf outing is
scheduled for April 10, 2012. Further details will be
forthcoming in the March 2012 Newsletter with signups at the
March meeting.

Thanks to two member's wives we have a cruise
planned for next year! Below is part of the
information and also here is

Come join members of the Police & Fire Club
on the Jewel of the Seas for a 5-day Western Caribbean
Cruise from Tampa to Cozumel and Costa Maya PLUS two days at
sea. The Jewel of the Seas is a member of the Radiance Class
of Ships for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Its maiden voyage
was May 2004 and is approximately 90K tons with a max
capacity of 2500. Some highlights include:
· A rock climbing wall
· Portofino Italian Restaurant
· Themed bars and lounges
· Casino Royale
· Indoor/outdoor country club with golf simulator
Dining preferences include: early seating (6:30pm), late
seating (8:15pm) or “anytime dining” seating (you arrive at
the dining room at your leisure and seated at a different
table each night).
All cabins come with a minibar, hair-dryer, TV, phone,
computer jack and 110/220 electrical outlets.
A deposit $50 per person will hold your cabin of choice. The
deposit is due no later than May 20, 2011. Final payment is
due November 15, 2011.
Please refer to the flyer for contact information. The rates
per cabin type INCLUDE all port charges and taxes. A credit
card is preferred for the deposit.
Arrangements will be made for a bus to take all members
cruising to the Port of Tampa. Cost per person will depend
on the number of people and the size of the bus. For
example: a small bus with 17 passengers will cost $47pp; a
medium bus with 28 passengers will cost $42pp; or a large
bus with 56 passengers will cost $25pp. If you prefer to
drive, Premier Parking (www.premierparkingusa.com
) is offering an online rate of $7 per day or a drive up
rate of $14 per day.
