NEXT MEETING
The next meeting is
Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at
7:00 PM in La Hacienda Recreation Center. This
will be a "Pizza Party". Pizza will be
provided along with coffee and tea. You will have to furnish
any other liquid refreshment.
SPEAKER
Charles Miner will be the speaker for the
evening. He will give a presentation on C.E.R.T.
including a new program.

HR 218 Qualifying
We have been advised that the qualifying for 2008 will be
held in March. As soon as a definite date is set the
club members will be notified and advised how to sign up. |
FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS
At our November meeting
it was voted to support the Christian Food Pantry in Lady
Lake or other needy Food Pantries by bringing canned or
dried food products to each of our meetings so we hope you
will bring what you can.
Shirts:
Both
members and spouses shirts can be ordered at
3 Amigos Pro Shop
next to McCall’s Restaurant.
There are Club Jackets available through
Audrey Williams (406-7609).
TALLAHASSEE
TRIP A trip is being
planned to Tallahassee, probably in March, to see the
Government in action. There will be a $50 deposit to
guarantee a room. As soon as more definite plans are
made you will be advised either by email or snail mail.
SECRETARY’S INFORMATION
2008 Dues of
$10.00 are now due. It is requested that if possible you
bring a check, payable to “Police and Fire Retirees Club” to
the meeting. If you are unable to come to the meeting you
may send a check to: Lyn Lobdell, 1029 Nell Way, The
