OFFICER ELECTION
RESULTS
Your current slate of officers were reelected for another year,
President Mike Varga, Vice President Larry Bowlby and
Secretary/Treasurer Lyn Lobdell.
Thank you for your
confidence in us.
SHIRTS
Both members and
spouses shirts can be ordered at
3 Amigos Pro Shop next to McCall’s Restaurant.
There are Club Jackets available through
Audrey Williams
(406-7609).
SUMMER PICNIC
A Summer Picnic is scheduled for Sunday,
September 27 at Mulberry Grove Recreation Center. It
will consist of Italian Sausage and BBQ Chicken. It
will be served with Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad,
Corn on the Cob, Iced Tea and a keg of Michelob. The
cost is $5.00 per person for members and spouses and $11.00
per person for non members. If you plan on attending
please send a check to Mike Varga, 17480 SE 75th Coachman
Ct, The Villages FL 32162 or bring the check to the June or
September meeting. The September meeting (September 1)
is the final date to signup..

& AUGUST
This is a
reminder that there will be no meetings and no newsletters
during the months of July and August.
The next meeting after the June meeting will be
September 1. May you all have a safe and enjoyable summer –
see you in the fall.
FOOD PANTRY
DONATIONS
At our
November 2007 meeting it was voted to support the Christian
Food Pantry in Lady Lake
or other needy Food Pantries by bringing canned or dried
food products to each of our meetings so we hope you will
bring what you can.

SHERIFF FARMER’S GOLF CHARITY FOR YOUTH
The 11th
Annual Sumter County Sheriff “Bill” Farmer’s Golf Charity
for Youth is scheduled for Saturday, June 6th,
2009. It will be
held at Tierra Del Sol Golf & Country Club in The Villages.
Registration forms are available at the Sumter County
Sheriff’s Annex on 466.
You must register at Tierra Del Sol Golf and Country
Club. Make
checks payable to Tierra Del Sol.
Also the Sheriff is
looking for volunteers to assist on the day of the event.
