NEXT MEETING
The next meeting is
Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at
7:00 PM at
LaHacienda Rec
Center. The
speaker for the meeting will be a representative of the Red
Cross. Donuts, coffee and tea will be furnished.
GOLF OUTING
Patrick
O’Neill will be taking signups for the golf outing scheduled
for Tuesday, March 23.
It will be at Lake Miona Golf Course and will be an 8
AM Shotgun start.
Cost is $25 which includes golf, cart, tax and range
balls. Lunch is
available for $10 consisting of hotdogs and hamburgers etc.
It is open to men and women and singles or foursomes.
ST PATRICK’S DAY PARADE
Mike
Spalding will be taking signups for participation in the
March 17th St. Patrick’s Day Parades.
We are signed up to participate in the parades at
both squares.
We can have walkers and golf carts.
ANTIQUE FIRE TRUCK
Mike Tucker advises that he had 2
volunteers working on the pump and motor.
They are now operational.
He is looking for volunteers to do body work.

DUES
2010 dues of $10 are now due.
If you have not paid, please bring a check for $10
made out to “Police and Fire Retirees Club” to the February
meeting. You may also mail the dues of $10 to Lyn
Lobdell, 1029 Nell Way, The Villages FL 32159.
CLUB PICNIC
Mike has made arrangements for our club
picnic to be held on Sunday, March 21 at Mulberry Grove Rec
Center from noon to 4 PM.
The cost per club member and spouse will be $6.50 (it
is $13.00 each for guests). There will be chicken, Italian
Sausage, baked beans, coffee etc and a keg of Michelob
Ultra. Checks and signups will be taken at the March
meeting. Also
checks may be mailed to Lyn Lobdell, 1029 Nell Way, The
Villages FL 32159.
FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS
At our November 2007 meeting it was voted
to support the Christian Food Pantry in Lady Lake or other
needy Food Pantries by bringing canned or dried food
products to each of our meetings so we hope you will bring
what you can.
