ELECTION
OF OFFICERS
First nominations for the offices of Vice
President and Secretary will be accepted at the April
meeting. Due to our bylaws changes only two offices will be
up for election each year.
FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS
At our November 2007 meeting it was voted
to support the Christian Food Pantry in Lady Lake or other
needy Food Pantries by bringing canned or dried food
products to each of our meetings so we hope you will bring
what you can.
APRIL CLUB PICNIC
The spring
picnic is scheduled for Sunday, April 3rd at
Mulberry Grove Recreation Center picnic area from Noon to 5
PM. The cutoff
date has been reached but this is a reminder that if it is
outdoors you will need to bring chairs however President
Mark will attempt to have it moved indoors and if so chairs
are not necessary.
Will try to notify all if moved indoors.
CLUB ITEMS
The club flags will be available at the meeting for $20 each.
Also name tags can be ordered for $5 each.
EMAILS
I had a problem
with emails to Embarqmail & Centurylink customers.
All my emails to these accounts were deemed to be
SPAM so was unable to send to those with these addresses.
I created new accounts etc but apparently this did
not help. I have
since discovered that it is the information I put in the
emails, ie, the To line and my contact information.
Apparently it is a format that spammers use.
I have sent emails leaving out that information and
they have gone to those I was having a problem with. As a
result you might be getting emails that only have my name
and not contact information.
