NEXT MEETING
The next meeting is
Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at
7:00 PM at
LaHacienda Rec
Center. The speaker for the evening will be Deputy Chief
& Fire Marshall LaPere of the Reedy Creek Fire Department
(Disney). Coffee,
tea and donuts will be provided.
3rd ANNUAL FIRE, POLICE
& EMS BALL
Tickets will be available at the meeting
for the Ball to be held on Saturday, February 26th
from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Savannah Center. Buffet Dinner,
Live Music, Dancing and Casino Games. Ticket donation is $40
per person. For

GOLF OUTING
There will be a
golf outing scheduled for later this spring, probably
sometime in March.

FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS
At our November 2007 meeting it was voted
to support the Christian Food Pantry in Lady Lake or other
needy Food Pantries by bringing canned or dried food
products to each of our meetings so we hope you will bring
what you can.
2011 DUES
The 2011 dues
of $10.00 will be collected at this meeting.
It would be helpful if you could bring your check for
$10.00 made out to “Police
and Fire Retirees Club”.
If all goes as planned there should be 3 of us
collecting dues so hopefully the line will move quickly.
SUMTER COUNTY QUALIFYING
The HR218 Qualifying in Sumter County has
been moved to a
smaller range and split into two days, Thursday,
February 10 and Friday, February 11. By now all those who
have signed up should have received information on the new
location and the day you are scheduled. If you have not
received and/or not confirmed the new info please email me
at Lyn@Lobdell.com
or call 750-6252. Also because there is less parking it is
recommended that you car pool.
Car pooling can be discussed at the meeting.
CLUB ITEMS
The club flags will be available at the meeting for $20 each.
Also name tags can be ordered at $5 each.
