Center. The speaker for the evening will be an attorney
discussing Florida Law as it applies to retirees.
Coffee, tea and donuts will be provided.

GOLF OUTING
The spring
fling golf outing is set for Tuesday, March 22nd.
Format is a four person scramble with an 8:30am
shotgun start.
It will be at the Miona Lake Golf Club, 5473 CR 122,
Wildwood. You may apply as a foursome or individual by mail,
phone, email or at the meeting.
Open to men, women & guests. Lunch is provided as
well as morning coffee. Prizes awarded at the luncheon.
Golf cart & range balls provided.
Arrive at the course between 7:30 & 8am.
This outing has traditionally been well attended, so the
earlier you make your reservation the better.
The cost of the outing is $37.00 per golfer or
$148.00 for a foursome. Make check out to the Police and

3rd ANNUAL FIRE, POLICE
& EMS BALL
The Ball will be held on Saturday,
February 26th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the
Savannah Center. Buffet Dinner, Live Music, Dancing and
Casino Games. Ticket donation is $40 per person.

FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS
At our November 2007 meeting it was voted
to support the Christian Food Pantry in Lady Lake or other
needy Food Pantries by bringing canned or dried food
products to each of our meetings so we hope you will bring
what you can.
2011 DUES
The 2011 dues
of $10.00 will be collected at this meeting.
It would be helpful if you could bring your check for
$10.00 made out to “Police
and Fire Retirees Club”.
Regretfully those who have not paid their dues by the
April meeting will be dropped from the roster.
If your dues
have not been paid there will be a notice in your mailed
copy.
CLUB ITEMS
The club flags will be available at the meeting for $20 each.
Also name tags can be ordered for $5 each.
APRIL CLUB PICNIC
The spring picnic is scheduled for Sunday, April 3rd
at Mulberry Grove Recreation Center picnic area from Noon to
5 PM. Meal, beer
and soda are provided at a cost of $7 each for members and
spouses and $15 each for guests.
Tickets will be available at the March 1st
meeting or by mailing a check (made out to
Police and Fire
Retirees Club) to: Lyn Lobdell, 1029 Nell Way, The
Villages FL 32159.
In the event of inclement weather it will be moved
indoors at Mulberry Grove.
