MEETING
The next meeting is
Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at
7:00 PM at
LaHacienda Recreation
Center. The speaker for the evening will be Sumter
County Sheriff William O. “Bill” Farmer Jr. discussing the
HR 218 Qualifying. He will also introduce the new Chief
Deputy. Coffee and tea will be provided.
SICK BAY
If any member becomes aware of a sick
member or spouse whom we should respond to, let

CHRISTMAS PARTY
There will be a Christmas
Party on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 (in place of our monthly
meeting), 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM at LaHacienda Rec Center. Dinner
will be served at 6:30 PM. It will be a buffet dinner with
Chicken Marsala or Apple Stuffed Pork Loin with loaded
mashed potatoes, green beans almandine, carrots with honey
and ginger, and cheesecake for dessert. The cost is $26.00
per person. Tickets are on sale at the November meeting with
a deadline of November 30th. Tickets may also be
purchased by mailing your check to:

Tickets will be held until the night of the event. The
committee consists of: Gabriele Hayes, Gerri Varga, & Kathy
Singleton.

CLUB ITEMS
The club flags
will be available at the meeting for $20 each.
There are a number of name tags ($5 ones) that were
ordered and will be at the meeting. We will not be taking
orders for any more until November (if I get south by the
meeting will take orders).

FALL GOLF OUTING
The fall Golf Outing is scheduled for
Tuesday, November 15, 2011. It will be a four person
scramble, with an 8:30am shotgun start. Location is Miona
Lake Golf Club, Wildwood. The cost is $33.00 per golfer.
This includes: golf, cart, range balls, lunch & morning
coffee. You may sign up and pay for your foursome at the
November 1st club meeting. Individuals can sign up & we will
team you with other golfers. Event is open to men & women.

LAKE COUNTY HR218 QUALIFYING
Lake County
Sheriff Gary Borders has announced an HR 218 Qualifying
Session on November 5th.
Those on email should have received information (if
you did not, contact the treasurer via above email address)
and those on regular mail will have a flyer enclosed with
this newsletter.
FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS
At our November
2007 meeting it was voted to support the Christian Food
Pantry in Lady Lake or other needy Food Pantries by bringing
canned or dried food products to each of our meetings so we
hope you will bring what you can.

Both members and spouses shirts can be
ordered at 3 Amigos
Pro Shop next to McCall’s
Restaurant.
There are Club Jackets
available through
